I think postponing the anniversary trip is a perfect idea. After all the whole year is your anniversary Does anyone here like the movie "Christmas with the Kranks?" The first time we saw it I thought "eh" but it's grown on me and now I think it's hysterical. The Cocoa and Coffee bar is fully stocked. I added some little pastries and cookies that I picked up in Solvang. Help yourself Does anyone like the

I can't imagine taking my DH shopping with me. I actually did a lot of my shopping online this year. I should have my last two gifts arrive by tomorrow. I was geting a little worried about one as it was an advance order, but they kept delaying the ship date. I did however realize today that I did manage to forget to send one out of towner a gift. If my head wasn't attached, I would forget it these days.

I'm almost done with my wrapping "cue DH to do a little rapping music"....... except for what my oldest DD has purchased for me that I won't get until Christmas Eve. She is a super coupon/sales shopper and has offered to be my personal shopper this week

I'll have to try and catch it this year. I know my DS said that was one of his favorite Christmas movies.

With a 90th birthday party, work issues, and other "suprises" it's a wonder I haven't camped out on the nearest secluded island just to get some peace and quiet! One good thing happened to us last week that ended up not being so good after all. A few years ago the company I work for had to cut our pay by 5% just to survive. After we had four rounds of layoffs, a pay cut wasn't so bad. Well, we got a new lender, and our company decided to reimbursed us for that pay. But, they taxed us as if it was a bonus, not a reimbursement. So over half of our money was gone. At least I got a new washing machine and dining room table out of it all. Enough about me - here's wishing all of you a wonderful Christmas, Hannukah, Kwanza or whatever you are celebrating. Remember family is important...mend those issues this holiday season and that will be the best present you can give.

I've been walking with one crutch, and doing some walking around the house on my own but still not ready for dl.I cancelled my revs the other day, made me depressed this will be the first anniv/ NewYears that we have not been to dl in I can't even remember when! But we'll just go when I feel confident enough to take on the crowds.
