It was about 9am-ish, and no one calls me that early on a Sunday. Anyway, it was my dad and my step-monster on the speaker phone calling me from the drag races. They were both giggling and giddy! They had called to thank me for the tickets (I had given them to them for a Christmas present). Apparently the seats were really good, they could see the racers exit the track right by their seats, and they were aisle seats so when the cars left the starting line they didn't have some yahoo in their line of vision. Anyway, hearing my dad sound so excited and young made me smile all day long. It was awesome.
