We are pretty much alone this year. Our oldest daughter went to Seattle to visit her sister. Our son is housesitting for her. We are going to pick him up this evening for a candlelight service and then tomorrow we plan to go to Black Bear Diner for pie.
Christmas with the grandkids will be late this year and we are enjoying the solitude.

Just 3 of our "kids" and one grandaughter spending the night tonight. Since she is just 1 year old there won't be any rushing for Santa gifts, in fact she typically sleeps til 9am!
Tomorrow is hanging out at our house and most if not all of the kids and grandkids come over. I cheat and buy a "home made" lasagne from a local restaurant and pop it in the oven at a time that seems reasonable. No muss to fuss :)
Enjoy the day however you spend it and whomever you spend it with XO

On New Year's Day, the day after we arrived in San Diego with the UHaul, the whole family went to Disneyland. It was a blast!!

Looking forward to a fun evening with my daughter's family. We have given up the romance thing and now have a Mexican dinner with the grandkids. We will play games and eat too much real chocolate.

Nice that the Aussies and amazed could make it too.

Yes hoping to see you in October, wondering about some kind of mini meet or such somewhere at the weekend as it looks like a few people may be there, including the Aussies.

mm, any kitten would be lucky to have you guys for a mamma and daddy! I recently acquired a new hatchling box turtle, two baby rats and two new goldfish. (We always have plenty of cats.)
