ophelia, I forget the name of your play or the content. I'd like to get some party favors for the theme. I promise no kazoos or bongos or air horns, something discreet, I promise :)

My temporary crown is freaking me out, it feels like someone stuck a piece of chewing gum over my tooth, it hurts to eat too, which is even weirder because it didn't hurt at all when it was broken LOL!

We'll be sure to have Chocolate Mousse and Banana or Coconut Cream tarts on our virtual, calorie free dessert buffet.

<<<the voice of experience.......Check if you can take Ibuprofen with your other meds, it's usually OK. The dentist said this is the med that is best for tooth pain. It did the trick, I just needed to keep them handy. Another instant idea is Orajel or Anbesol, pretty sure it was murfsmom who suggested that. I got the Orajel swabs and they work instantly. Great for travel :)

If your jaw starts to "lock" due to inactivity or chewing only on one side, occasionally put 2 side by side (stacked) fingers in between your front teeth to give it a stretch and then move to 3 fingers when you can. Looks weird so might want to avoid public places :):)

Our pharmacy and grocery stores actually sell a product that you can use to stick the crown back on. Check the "oral" aisle in your stores. I keep one in our travel case. I'm nutty that way.

You'll be fine if you are prepared, in fact if you are stocked up on everything, you'll probably never need it. Typical that way.

Thinking of other soft foods for the buffet.....avoiding ice cream due to the COLD shock......hmmmmmmmmmmmmm

Can't have anything brufen related as it's in the same family as the super duper naproxen I take for my knee ;) So I guess it must be helping some right?
