When I picked her up to comfort her, I noticed my hand was wet. I looked and it was covered in blood. Luckily, my neighbor is a RN so I ran her over for her to look at. She said they would probably put three staples in it if I took her to the emergency room, but since it was already clotting that it would be okay without the stitches. It was on the back of her head so any scar will be covered by her hair. She just cleaned it good and then put gauze on it for pressure and then wrapped her head like a mummy to keep it on there. I think she is fine, but momma is still pretty traumatized.
