This weekend the only thing I did on Saturday was go and watch DH's band. He is in a swing band and they played at a benefit this weekend for a little 5 year old that has cancer. On Sunday, we had my DH's grandmother's 89th birthday. I hope I get along that well when I am that age. She still even lives by herself. It is a retirement complex so she goes to the main center for her meals and they check on her periodically.

I can tell you all now but it's been a day of anxiety, my friend from way way back had surgery today, the dr gave her results yesterday and said surgery asap, she had a cancerous growth in he stomach and it spread to her kidney, so they removed the kidney and part of her intestine,it was a 6 hour surgery but we found out a little while ago that she did well, and they didn't have to remove her colon ! So now i'm really happy, so let's PRTY !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
