Test Track and Soarin' are probably the two most popular attractions at Epcot. Please explain to me how they are sub-par. Why don't you nay-sayers go back to complaining about DCA. At least we expect it over there.

I never mentioned one word about Soarin and Test Track. I enjoy Soarin a great deal and certainly think it's an improvement over Food Rocks. As for Test Track, I think it's OK but very overrated. It's not something I ride regularly and am at the park all the time. I happen to have enjoyed the old WoM far more than a quickee ride thru an empty show building and a loop in a convertible. If you enjoy it, I'm thrilled for you. I happen to LUV Epcot so please don't assume because you make an ... but mostly yourself.

Let's have a monument to all the wonderful attractions that were replaced by sub-par new ones INSTEAD of building new ones.>> The only replacement attraction that is sub-par to what it replaces is JIYI. And I'm just giving the consensus opinion on that because I never thought the first one was much good either. I enjoy Test Track considerably more than I ever enjoyed WoM. I did love Horizons, but my understanding is that the building was literally falling apart. It had to be replaced with something. And as much as I loved Horizons, I think Mission Space is a far superior attraction. So I can think of just ONE instance where your comment makes sense... so where does ALL THE WONDERFUL ATTRACTIONS come from? Seems like just one to me.

Net negative, might change. Symbiosis replaced with Circle of Life. Net negative. Food Rocks replaced by Soarin: Net positive. UoE replaced by Ellen's Energy Adventure: Net equal. Horizons replaced by Mission Space. Net negative. If MS was part of a whole space pavillion it would be a positive. WoL, closed with no replacement. Net minimum three negatives (one for each major attraction gone). WoM replaced by TT. Net negative. Does that help, Roady?

I really can't say which one I prefer. They are both message films with nice music. WoM and Horizons... I like the replacements better; you don't. Just a matter of taste. But if you look at the Test Track lines, it is clearly more popular than WoM ever was. Even Mission Space draws considerably more people that Horizons did its last few years. WoL... I'm waiting. Can't say the replacement is better or worse until we know what it is. If stay empty for more than another year or so, then I would agree with you.

However, I hate the fact that its yet another Pixar tie-in. At worst the redone Living Seas pavillion will be a WASH pun intended.

That's what it is all about. Epcot is an entirely different bird. Whether it is the re-creations of foreign settings in the World Showcase or the review of man's history found in Spaceship Earth and the Energy Adventure, Epcot is all about REALITY... not make believe and animatronics. It seems some of you folks can't accept any Disney park that falls outside the Magic Kingdom model. Get over it... expand your mind and accept the endless possibilities.

Disney sends a team to the Himalayas, they discover new species and yet all that we talk about is the roller coaster part. I guess, in the queue, there are some displays with the new species information. A friend, who works with Imagineering...he thought they were fake. Blew me away, because he's always complaining that no one looks at the little, hidden details the imagineers incorporate. And now the Living Seas is becoming one, "Oh, look it's Nemo and Dory and Crush, isn't he so totally cool, dude...'cha'" and what happens to the real world science/discovery of the oceans of the world? It might as well be the Magic Kingdom

To agree with Luvdatdisney...Yes I too Lament The Loss of Horizons, WOM, And the original JIYI and Image works ( I think your Strecthing with Magic journeys) That Doesnt mean i dont love the replacements I just would have prefered "In Addition to" Not "Instead of" but you gotta except the change As Ive said before Horizons, Wom, They werent closed because disney security had problems with crowd control.
