Something that everyone can express their views on without being riduculed or belittled for their views. I never said or implied I was looking only for the same views or a Stepford community - only one with mutual respect for one another and their point of view...no matter how superior some may think they are over the rest of us.

Originally Posted By Jim in Merced CA <no matter how superior some may think they are over the rest of us.> I don't understand this type of comment. Superior? Like a 'Holier than Thou' type of thing? I think some people <are> more knowledgeable about Disney Theme Parks than others. Does that make them superior? I suppose in a knowledge sense, yes it does. But I don't feel myself beholden to them. And overall, I do think that most people here are respectful in their posts. The one drawback might be (and I'm guilty of this) that on the message board, it can become very anonymous. I know Kar2oonMan on a personal level. And I've met Lulu, Doobie and Rebekkah and a handful of other LP members just a few times. Beyond that, my personal connections with LP.com members is very minimal. But I think it's okay for me. Sorry if you're getting your feelings hurt.

I am also a realist and know that some people get a charge out of slamming someone else. And then there are those having an off day. And, (and this has happened to me) something is just taken wrong. I have seen some real fameups(?) here and seen them resolved most peacefully.

For the most part these are the people that are the most friendly and truely express things in an educational way... I am speaking more of the few that feel like if they bully people enough everyone will jump on their boat and share their opinions. But you know what - Maybe I was wrong thinking that if I posted this maybe some of us would take a look at the personal attacks we have been throwing around and decide to discuss not berate each other... And yes I do include myself in this after posting a less than nice post in response to something said to me... It made me feel bad - and I was only hoping others would see this in themselves and go back to the discussion mode and maybe tone down the attack mode. But maybe that is just too much to ask of LP anymore. Like I said I will stick to PlayPen and a few others...

I think that we CAN express opposing positions without bumping heads. We all must always remember that people reading our words can't hear our tone of voice that we hear in our head.

I saw it at DL a few years ago and then purchased them on Amazon. LOL gottaluv, apparently you haven't known me long enough. Lest you forget, I am, ahem, The Most Evilest LPer in the World™. If LP is the Dark Knight, then I am Heath Ledger. This man at <a href="http://www.pixyland.org" target="_blank">http://www.pixyland.org</a> is only child's play. If Chuck Norris and I met each other face to face, life as we know would cease to exist because the ultimate forces of good and evil are too extreme for the world to handle us being in the same place at the same time.
