But I feel really bad for what i took from my ex. If I hadn't taken 18 years out of life, I'm sure her life would have been much different. This isn't the 3rd world with wife ownership; if a woman wants to seek marrital dissolution or even cut out without the formal petition then she has that option, even in West Virginia. ---best not to dwell on that or beat yourself up year after year
