Sprit I have stay at MANY Disney Resorts and have stayed @ Royal Pacific (3 times). Royal Pacific isn't what you say it is - and is extremely overpriced for it's "value". They charge $15.00 per day for parking-Disney doesn't. The so-called fire ceramony involved Home Depot tiki torches. Royal Pacific has loud nighttime pool parties for kids (w/movies played on floating movie screens. Your room RATTLES everytime the Hulk roars by. And as an aside... There is NO WAY you paid less than $20.00 for a meal @ Trocph chop (or however they spell it) when there Scallop App is $19.00. Stop the Disney Bashing you bitter person.

It is called the Tiki Light Ceremony I think and only performed on the same nights as the Luau Buffet. I love the fire dancing without the food aspect or money...I have stayed here many times and have never witnessed this so I am guessing many others have probably missed it too. There is so much going on it would be impossible to know everything but I would hope Lpers would take the time to share the good along with the bad!

I have heard that at Victoria Falls at AKL you might be able to get one of the former AKL specific drinks if you get a bartender who has been around before the standardised menu.

FYI- I am not a fan boy (boi?) and don't use alot of text lingo. I am a Themepark Fan and watched UNI build HP, while going to Sea World, Busch Gardens, Cedar Point & WDW. When I went to Uni and stayed on Property, I always make a point to stop by WDW and my fav resort (CBR) to have a drink w/ my fav bartenders (who remember me, unlike those @ Royal Pacific. No, the menus are standardised, i.e. the same everywhere. Seems like I am really having difficulties with bringing my point across in English at the moment.

I have also learned to be careful when making announcements like the time I told everyone on facebook I was eating at Hofbrauhaus (in Newport, Kentucky) and all my friends in Germany were excited because they thought I was in Munich.

It was suppose to say " Nobody understands me when I post in English either. "
