I'm not sure if any of the "regular" deluxe guest could use the monorail resort pools or not, given the premium charged at them.

You are only allowed to swim at your designated resort pool unless it is under construction. Then you will be informed of the alternate pool you can use.

Hopping is allowed at 'sister' properties ... Port Orleans and Dixie Landings would be one example ... or All Star Music and All Star Sports would be another. Beyond that, only DVCers are allowed to hop to any pool on property (with the exception of Stormalong Bay at BC and I think DAK Lodge ... and they have many black out dates during crowded periods when they can't hop at all). The only time hopping was allowed was in the 70s and 80s when Disney only had a few resorts and they were all at the deluxe level and there wasn't an Internet for people to put ways to scam out to others. Once CBR opened and then Disney went on a massive build-out of WDW, pool-hopping ceased to exist (except for the situations listed above). Now, Disney isn't cracking down on this except at some deluxe resorts. If someone (and not saying they should because I don't know why they would) wanted to swim at the ASMu's piano pool or one of the CSR's Casitas' pools or the quiet pool at the YC, I'm 99.9999% sure they'd never get called on it unless they made it very obvious.

BC/YC have become way too downmarket for me. ... and my WL mug is a 1998 edition.
