Mauer didn't do anything, but Morneau smacked a two-run homerun in the second that put us ahead after the Cubs had taken an early 1-0 lead. The main difference in the game though was Santana. As one or our local sport's scribes put it "No, the real reason this game was a predictable 7-2 Twins victory was simple math: Johan Santana + Metrodome = Twins victory." By the way... I read that you guys have been giving former Twin Jacque Jones a ration of grief down there!! You really should be better to him... he is a great player and a class act. He got a standing ovation from the Twins fans when he was introduced last night. The Cubs fans at the dome last night were very well behaved... I was actually a little surprised. Nothing like the bunch of drunks that cross the state line when Milwaukee is in town. Those Milwaukee fans should be forced to spend time in the Pooh Park (see, this post really is on-topic).

Yes sending the Brewers fans to the Poo playround would be justice-- and then they could baby sit all the unsupervised kids there also --

You might reach him Sunday (if it's raining and he can't go to the beach) or -- more likely -- Sunday night!

This so that you HAVE TO PASS a Walmart either way in oder to get to Target and not only that, Walmart WILL certainly sell certain items at a break even or even a slight loss to get folks to come INSIDE. The most popular product for this? Softdrinks. I could go on but it's late, so... The short version: Walmart is evil.

EVER .... even thought that I needed a break from my kids. A break from walking so much at Epcot? Sure, lets all sit down a bit and have a snack over here in Mexico...oooh get us some churros. A break from work? Yes, the laundry in this house is hell on wheels. 5 loads a day minimum and that is sans cooking (22 meals a day during summer) and cleaning, not to mention if the kids are ill. A break from the STUFF that you just have to do, sure. But a break from your kids? I actually...oh no you know what? I think I actually love my kids MORE than I love myself! OMG whatever will I do?

The Walmart model is not capitalism - it is something far more sinister from their sellin practices to their human resources behavior
