If you want to defend it and say well, kids love Pooh blah blah, but come on! There is NOTHING!! THere is a lousy little tree, with NOTHING to do in it... two slides ( I think it was two ) and a coupl of tunnels to crawl through. There really isn't even a place for parents to sit. So someone please tell me, what imagineering went into this? Who decided yes, we will have nothing there and this will really be fun for kids? Blackie Pueblo

It's a great place to get away and relax while still being right smack in the middle of the MK! Not to mention, at least our TSI has food (open seasonally now) and a fort still open!

Then again, using this example, people must have paid $10,000 to see an abandoned lagoon for the past 10 years.

I just don;t follow that logic.

I AM happy something has finally happend with the lagoon. Now, i'll wait and see what else is done with the large area the lagoon took up. If an e-ticket is put behind the 'playground' in a few years, yes, i'll give them a 'pass' for their use for the space.

Personally, i won't use the playground but i would use a nice new major attraction back there. If something really nice was done with the land, i would still consider the land to have been put to good use, despite the lacking playground.

A carving of the 20K and 3 hidden Mickeys is their idea of 'whimsical' fun at this playground...and how many brats and their parents will see these icons on the tree...?

Me thinks even HKDL's Fantasia Garden would have been a nice addition to this area, especially since the 20K dock was already used as (and proven to be a good) photo op area.
