Pooh's Hunny Hunt, just a piece of crap!? Or, not?

But I agree, I wouldn't wait too long for it. But then again, I've been on it dozens of times by now AND there's always fastpass (I rode it just a few days ago with less than a 10 minute wait all told).

As for a new attraction...well let's just say I wouldn't bother with a brand new ride that had a 60 minute wait recently. That ride had something to do with Pooh too, if I recall correctly.

Ask WorldDisney about THAT one too! ;)

It's a shame the Disneyland version didn't go down this route, as I'm sure it would be looked upon much more warmly now if they had.

Video has always shortchanged the experience of the ride for those who have not ridden live.

But however they are recharged, I agree that Pooh is 10x better an attraction.

Apples and oranges, imo. They are not really comparable attractions. Pooh is a plain and simple, awe (and "aww") inspiring attraction. The only TRUE e-ticket in modern times to do away with the thrill factor and simply entertain the whole family in true Disney fashion.

Aquatopia, on the other hand, is a whimsical (gotta give it that!) "move around" ride like its namesake autopia, or the peoplemover, and the like. It's fine for what it is, as far as I'm concerned. No, I don't think it's fantastic by any means (though I see lots of smiles from guests riding it), but it serves its purpose just fine. Plus, it adds great kinetic motion to Port Discovery (a place chock full of that to begin with, what with the bay, water pouring in from the bay, that big spinning thing in the center, the trains going by, and the volcano exploding now and then (a parkwide experience though, to be sure).

Actually, in pre-opening, I got to check out DisneySea 5 times due to lucky connections...and I actually experienced every single attraction and show in the park in those 5 visits (though it took all 5!) EXCEPT for aquatopia which was not open until opening day for whatever reason. So, it's a bit special for me since it's the LAST DisneySea attraction I ever experienced. ;D

Well, no. I didn't check out EVERYTHING (I missed Ariels playland the first 5 times around somehow, AND I did skip a few of the Mermaid Lagoon kiddie rides that I probably will NEVER bother riding unless I'm with a small child). But pretty much everything, anyway.

No truer statement has even been written on this board, ever.
