IF they needed to change the name, I'd stay with the semi-alliteration.

"Goofy's Go-Coaster" would be appropo. Also keeping with the spirit of the ride and Toontown.

    Splash Mountain anyone? ;)

You early birds should be lucky... all *we* had growing up was the entire Tomorrowland during the Magic Morning days before Toontown. Yawn...Space Mountain... blah... Star Tours. :p ;)

That said: I think they need to clean the place up! It's getting pretty beat up and dirty, not at all a Disney experience, and so many little things don't work any more. Quite sad really.

Oh, and Philharmagic in Toon Town is a brilliant idea!

Years from now, some of the kids that are in the park today will be sitting with an older parent or sibling and out of the blue say "hey, remember that time at Disneyland when...." Another reason I love it so much os because of the love Walt and his buddies put into the park, you can't really go without feeling the soul of Walt in the park. Lastly, and forgive me for being so long winded here, I love the park because it is filled daily with good people just like all of you folks. Disney FOREVER!

Does anybody else find themselves remembering the story Walt used to tell about how he used to take his daughters to a park and he'd get bored sitting on a bench while the girls played, so he created Disneyland as a place where adults and kids could play together?

There isnt any other land where only the younger kids are entertained and the adults and older children get bored.

Dont get me wrong, I like toon town, but I can see room for improvement.

No, but there's Epcot. Don't get me wrong, I think that Epcot is one of the best parks that Disney has ever made (up with DL and TDS), but there really isn't much for little kids there. Once they're about 7 or 8, it starts being a great place for them, but there isn't much for kids younger than that.

So along with Roger, there is three worthwhile attractions in Toon Town.
the remodel of Goofy's house just seems to have been a waste. Every time i visit Toontown, it is closed to sun making the playthings hot. So basically this attraction is open from 7pm-830 pm? Afterall Toontown opens later than the rest of park and closes earlier. But if people can't experience the attraction during day light hours, than there really isn't much time to actually experience it!
    They do something.
oh and i went on Gadgets. this is definately not an attraction for tall people or big people. i am 6'2. my knees barely fit under the lapbar.
oh well, i guess it is a coaster for kids. Though the rehab can't come soon enough, it is looking a little worn.

Maybe not a whole land but Tom Sawyer Island comes to mind. And there are many many attractions that cater to either older or younger audiences. Walt had an ideal and it was vaild and it was revolutionary. But the world is a different place today.
