It's definitely bigger and the pool was less exciting, but we didn't feel at all like we were treated differently because it's a "value." The room was new-ish and super clean, and we had put in a room request ahead of time so we were on the end of the 70's building and it was very quiet. The CM's were also super helpful and the store at Pop has more stuff than the one at POFQ.

One down side is that the Pop bus stops are almost always the last ones at the theme parks. It's a fairly minor thing, but after an exhausting day of walking we didn't enjoy walking past everyone else's stop. That said, there were plenty of buses and we only had one long wait (at DTD).

If money were no object we would probably opt for POFQ just because of its smaller size and better pool, but for the amount we saved we were able to afford three extra days and it was well worth it.

I don't know what it is, exactly - maybe decor, maybe landscaping, but the Pop just feels more plush than the AS. I stayed once at the All Star Sports, and it felt like a Disney version of a Motel 6. I never got that feeling at the Pop.
