I can honestly say that I've never gotten that impression. Flip through the next 2 pics beyond this.." From the viewpoint of a professional event planner I would say that Tomorrowland has a rather amateurish or mediocre looking lighting package. To me it appears to be a 1980s era shopping mall where someone decided to throw a private corporate party. Sure, the pavement areas are a little dark, but I don't get "gloomy" or "depressing" from those images at all.

With the new grungy paint scheme and colored gels, the look at night is dark and even 'Blade Runner' oppressive. My thought is that several areas will get the 'Star Wars' treatment and the land will remain Tomorrowland.
