The "pub" part is so blatant (and the hotel is a bit of an afterthought) ... you can't miss them. Take up the whole building front, and finding the entrance to the hotel part .... if you blink, you'll miss it. Pretty common design for bars everywhere here. Just my guess - I think Australians are bigger drunks per capita, over Americans. ;) They love their beer!!

With no help from drunken pirates from PotC. ;)

A decent steak will cost you about 14 to 20.

Look at Tomorrowland at night time. ;) That doesn't look seedy?? Those who are wishing TL to become Star Wars land ... you wait. You'll get "seedy" with all those metallic surfaces spread across building facades, at night time!

Does anyone else think that the figure seen in a close-up at around 7:24 looks like Danny McBride?

Tell me you haven't walked around the main concourse into TL at night .. made the walk around the Observatron ... and didn't think it was just a little too "dark" in more ways than one.

And if your memory doesn't serve well enough ... a google search of TL images will often be exaggerated. Pics where the photographer slowed the timing of the shutter to allow more light in.

This is probably as close as I can find, to the actual amount of light in TL at night. Depending on your computer screen settings:

Flip through the next 2 pics beyond this..

A Gandalf line comes to mind! ;)

Imagine the approaching Balrog as "Star Wars" .. and I'm Gandalf at that bridge, with my staff.

    You know the rest. :)

I can honestly say that I've never gotten that impression.

From the viewpoint of a professional event planner I would say that Tomorrowland has a rather amateurish or mediocre looking lighting package. To me it appears to be a 1980s era shopping mall where someone decided to throw a private corporate party. Sure, the pavement areas are a little dark, but I don't get "gloomy" or "depressing" from those images at all.

    Poor lighting.

What was once white lights, are now covered with colored gels, bringing in lots of nice colors (Oh Constance ;) ...but dimming the overall amount of "fill" light to illuminate the land properly at night.

Both images could be "doctored up" to a degree .. but you get the idea.

With the new grungy paint scheme and colored gels, the look at night is dark and even 'Blade Runner' oppressive.

My thought is that several areas will get the 'Star Wars' treatment and the land will remain Tomorrowland.
