After the refurb, it'll also contain a few subtle phrases from "A Whole New World." Don't worry - it'll blend seamlessly.

I visited Disneyland ONCE in my childhood-- in the Summer of 1972. A vivid memory I hold is of the dinosaurs' battle, as seen from the steam train. Only problem is, my vivid memory places them on the wrong side of the train! I can still picture them to the left of the train, with the "lava" rollers coming in from the left, and the two dinosaurs lit in lurid red light. Even after all the trips I have taken to see them correctly, I cannot give up this image.

An interesting note about the unseen banjo player in PotC. A few years ago I heard a presentation from Glenn Barker, who has been working WDI audio since 1969. He mentioned that the banjo player was originally on a long continuous loop of audio tape. When the first cassettes were developed, PotC's audio was converted to a series of players. That particular track was too long, so the selection was truncated, making the loop much shorter. In recent years there was a conversion to digital audio. Glenn was pleased to track down the original session tapes and restore the complete banjo soundtrack to this portion of the attraction. So some of you may remember slightly different music coming from that banjo that is INSIDE THE SHACK...!
