Reading this thread reminded me of when I saw my babies for the first time and my heart just go out to Heidi so much. I couldn't imagine having to endure that separation. So as soon as she is strong enough, please give her and baby a big hug for me! I may be a stranger but all moms, aunts - heck anyone who has ever held a newborn - would feel compassion towards her. And this has been a good reminder to donate blood. They remain in my thoughts and prayers.
