She is doing as well as she could possibly do in her condition doctor says. She is slightly breathing on her own and with the assistance of the machine. They are a bit concerned about pneumonia so they are doing respitory treatments to get her to cough and release any fluids from her lungs. We will not know the test results from the mass and tumor removed from her small intestine until Monday or Tuesday. She's not talking but she did acknowledge and communicate with my mom and sisters through head nods. Long day but my entire family is up there supporting her and eachother. Thank you all again, please keep praying for her. ;>

We hold her hand, talk to her, sing to her, comb her hair, put a towel on her forehead, rub her legs. Lots of laughing and joking with her. Telling her she's doing good. She knows she loved. :>

She is still not talking due to discomfort and a very hoarse throat but with head nods we can communicate with her. She was taken off the breathing machine in the late afternoon yesterday and by evening time the only tube she still had in her nose was to drain fluid from the intestine and her oxygen to help her a bit with breathing still. This morning she was moved from ICU to a regular room. She is still in a tremendous amount of pain due to the surgery BUT she is lots better. She actually has some coloring in her face and her eyes are focused. She has a long haul in recovering but for 85 she is doing really well. They are still a bit concerned due to her constant fever and the fact that they did remove a tumor. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ So thank you all for your prayers and good thoughts. I'm very grateful. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Please keep them coming she's got quite the recovery to still go and we don't have the lab results back yet. ;>
