You really do come off like an idiot these days, bro. I wonder if you even realize that.

I've got that. What I'd like is the ability to make you be man enough to admit when you're wrong.

Yeah, it really is kinda pathetic, isn't it?

There's only one person here shown to be wrong on this topic, or at least can't show where the Times distorted any facts here, but he pretends by doing the "I know you are but what am I" thing that he's evened the score or something.

What's pathetic is that you think I need to prove anything to you, when I've proven you wrong countless times, only to have you deny it. You're not worth the time.

Ah, but you took the time to post that, didn't you? If you thought Dabob2's post was completely without merit and not worth responding to, you could have simply left it unresponded to. But instead, you make vague references to the "countless times" that you've proven him wrong, without actually mentioning a single one of them. I realize it's all part of the technique you use, but even you must eventually realize that we all know what you're up to, and your techniques simply are not effective now that we know what they are.

To be entirely fair, we have all left or threatened to leave here before....

I would say that 75% of service members who take advantage of GI Bill benefits today are not earning degrees that are of any great value to their long term earnings potential or in skill areas that are particularly useful in the U.S. economy. In the meantime, our military spends billions of dollars to train 18 and 19 year old kids valuable skills ranging across a wide variety of areas to include welding, plumbing, computer network administration, engine maintenanace, and hundreds of other marketable skills.

Military service members would be better off to use those skills in the marketplace than to waste the taxpayer money on a worthless degree from some non-accredited online university that aggressively caters to military members and sucks away their GI Bill benefits. The diploma mills are the only beneficiaries of an expanded GI Bill benefit.

Actually GI Bill benefits are only able to be used at accredited Universities. I know quite a few people in the Military who are aggresively going to College even while deployed and already working long hours. I am offended that you implied most members of the military are idiots, that is far from the case.

To use the GI Bill, you must choose a college that has already been cleared by VA, it's not like you can
just pick any college out of the phone book and go to it.

I'm sorry, but I can't help but think that this is an attitude that wants to keep them stupid, assuming they really are. Moreover, what about the ones who don't come from the stupid demographic and might succeed, according to this theory? This flies in the face of the good old Republican theory that ig given the chance and the tools, anyone can make it here.

    It's not a technique. It's the truth.

And I've never vowed to leave here.

I would be embarrassed to put the colleges that my co-workers are attending with their GI Bill benefits on my resume. And I've been asked to proofread their work on multiple occasions -- it is not collegiate level.

Sorry to be offensive, but sometimes we just need to be honest with ourselves on what is best for people. A pipefitter or welder will make far more in the marketplace than someone with a worthless bachelor's degree in basketweaving.

Oh for heaven's sake. That's a bald faced lie and you know it. Somewhere back in the archives is a post or two by you vowing to leave here because the rest of us aren't worth your time. What a load.
