    Too late.

Thank goodness I'm not a Republican, because that theory is pretty dumb.

No and no. I once said I was tired of Dabob distorting my comments, and I was taking a break from WE, but I've never vowed to leave.

We do everything from setting up the network, building servers, trouble shooting systems, and configuring switches routers. With help from the GI Bill, my team and I have achieved a combined 17 Technical Certifications, including A+, Network +, Security +, CCNA, and CCNP. These tests are quite expensive so they have been using the GI Bill to supplement the costs of the tests. We have also as a team completed over 40 Semester hours of college, an impressive feat considering not one of us is working less than 12 hours a day. I guarantee you these guys are doing more work than most people in our field.

What a waste of taxpayer dollars indeed….

That's interesting. The network administrators in my unit are getting these certifications funded by the military wihthout having to use GI Bill benefits. Not sure why someone who is alreaday being trained as a network person by the military would have to go out and pay for these certifications out of pocket. Weird.

I guarantee you very few soldiers get a degree in basketweaving, but believe what you want. Being in the military for quite a few of these young people gives them the discipline and respect needed to succeed in college in the future. A lot of young people are not ready for college at the age of 18, yet they still go, and fail miserably. Why not give those that have sacrificed for their country an opportunity to better themselves.

Thanks for the best laugh I'm likely to have today.

This thread isn't that long, so it's easy to see what happened here. You started by insinuating that this editorial couldn't be trusted, simply because it came from the NYT. When challenged to show where, exactly, this particular editorial distorted anything, you could not do so. So you fell back on the usual "I know you are, but what am I" stuff, and then the "I've proven you wrong countless times" stuff, without any examples of that either, of course.

And then you're called on it, by numerous people. Once again, we see many people all telling you the same thing, and no one including your fellow conservatives backing you up. Which tells you it's not about ideology, it's about your methods.

Which once again MIGHT cause you to take a step back, and take an honest, sober look at yourself and your methods. Or not.

    I'm guessing... not.
