I took his comment to mean it would be typical of such racist, hate-spewing right wingers to identify themselves as "good christians" even though their behavior and attitude is about as unchrist-like as can be (thus they're NOT "real" Christians). And since you seem to have a thing with the capitalization issue, I capitalized that last one just for you. (seems to me that when referring to the loathsome haters, it'd be better NOT to capitalize their supposed hypocritical "beliefs")

Just and observation...*** I think that's mostly because Christianity (due to the actions of its' founder) is so fully identified with certain behaviors such as "turn the other cheek", "let he who is without sin", "love thy neighbor" and so on... When supposed "christians" behave in abhorrent ways, the hypocrisy (and the irony!) is downright thick.
