While the annual increases seem small, they do add up over time (unlike my near to non existent pay increases). While I'll never say never, the likelihood that I'll go back to Orlando is slim to none. And I haven't been back to DLR since 2008, in large part because of the coast (the year round crowds don't help either).

I can afford a WDW vacation, but I'd much rather go to Europe, Asia, or South America than WDW. Having DLR within an 8 hour drive from here makes it even less of a draw for me. And don't even get me started on how much I can't stand Florida. All that aside, WDW doesn't struggle to attract visitors, so my basic point still stands; they'll continue to raise prices as long as customers are willing to pay top dollar.

The time spent in transit between parks takes up more time than it is worth.

Reasons for this would include being in Orlando for business reasons unrelated to WDW, and having some free time one day, or perhaps the day before or after a Disney Cruise from Port Canaveral. In only one case did I actually buy a one-day ticket, as usually I just buy a 10-day hopper with no expiration option, and that lasts me for 2-3 years including WDW vacations as well as single-day visits when I'm in town for other reasons. Yes, you can add days to an existing pass, as long as you do so prior to using the last day, but only if you haven't already maxed it out at 10 days. But I would assume many one-day passes are purchased by people in Orlando for non-WDW reasons such as I mentioned. Also, I would mention that in many cases, for events at the Convention Center, they'll have a booth set up that allows attendees to purchase single-day park passes at a discount. I'm not sure if they're valid all day, or only after a certain time of day (such as being intended for late afternoon and evening use after attending a conference during the day).

Leaves plenty of money to spend in the hotel bar at night.) Now all of a sudden you have to pay an extra $5 ($99 instead of $94) to have a little fun on the side. Yeah, I'd be pissed too. ;-) Just kidding... having a little fun. Been there, done that.

Incidentally I think all prices were recently increased at WDW. They do have the new MagicBand FastPass Plus expense and a new Fantasyland and new parade. Hopefully the cast members will get a living salary increase also. Considering Disney wants me to pay more I want Disney to pay more also to their cast members.
