We live in the East Bay also. For my prom most of the girls went to the GunneSax store for their dresses. I couldn't find one that looked good on me so I had a different kind of dress for my prom.

    Remember these?

The it was pink and cotton. The skirt of the dress had the same ruffles, but they were in strips. Oh, I WISH I had a picture of it!!!

A couple of years later, I let someone borrow the dress and apron for a play. They never returned it and they moved away. Still a huge loss to me. I loved that dress.....

ROFL on the "went". Yeah. Like we didn't grow up here and know what that all means!? Sometimes it's better to let them think you are ignorant, LOL

Hey we all went to Santa Cruz techniquely after the prom... :)

I am sure yours will go down right after - We had like 20 people staying in one room down there - the motel caught on after the 4th car got there --- luckily it was relayed back and we all didn't head down til very early am!

It was kind of funny, my wedding dress ended up being the same style as my prom dress.

They served dinner and had photos, etc. My date refused to dance, so I didn't get to dance at my prom. (and no one else asked me). Gosh, I was such a freak in Hight School. I should have just gone up to someone and asked them to dance.
