    We double-dated with another couple, and the other girl wore a red and white ginham dress that her mom made. We are still friends and we refer to it as her "Italian restaurant tablecloth dress". What was she thinking?!
    I gotta get that photo scanned, 'cause she is in the pics too :).
    Can't believe it was 34 years ago!!!

    Although DH and I were high school sweethearts, we didn't go to prom. Neither of us was much for dancing. We went to the Sadie Hawkins every year though! I love those pics!

And, the group you see me pictured with were the group I went with. We had dinner, went to prom and did pictures, checked out the prom itself for a out 20 minutes, then took off to go elsewhere. lol

    Tink - thanks. :) I really liked it, of course. IIRC, I think Mom spent about $150 or so on it. Then whatever for the shoes and then getting the shoes dyed to match, plus the clutch.

    Oh, and my corsage was a black orchid wrist corsage. Very pretty. :)
