That's a good point. I know that at Disneyland, Peter Pan's Flight is often 45+. It's a cool little ride, but an hour wait for it is a bit too long for me.

I can see long waits for the Dwarfs coaster. First, it's a coaster -- even Gadget's Go-Coaster, which is incredibly short, attracts a steady crowd. Second, loading/unload time won't be super fast, all the safety checks to make sure lap bars etc. are in place takes some time, too.

Perhaps within the last coupld of days they have made a decision against them though?

Omg really? BECAUSE the enviornments/settings that have been the raison d'etre for EVERY Snow dark ride will no longer exist. Snow White worked because of the strengnth of the enviornments (The Queens Castle, the Dungeons, the Frightning Forest, going INTO the Dwarfs Cottage), all done in black light. This will all be GONE. All we will now be enveloped with is......trees......rocks....water..trees....and TWO scenes. EPIC.

Agreed. no one ranks on Casey Jr. and this Dwarf Coaste looks like a *plussed* version of Casey Jr.

What is wrong with THAT ?!

And as many have pointed out, the old Snow White dark ride was just an embarrassment.

I can't be anything but excited for the whole Fantasland project. I haven't felt this way since SPLASH was built. So much beauty is coming to the most ugly Fantasyland. I won't be able to say that soon :))))

This whole thing wreaks of much needed love and cuteness.

Because FLE is in dire need of content. Of a draw. Heck, of an E Ticket.

So far, all we are getting, is a lot of pretty scenery. And that's great.

But it needs something large to base it around, for it to seem like a full fledged addition to the park.

As it is, right now, it just seems like it's a afterthought to the rest of Fantasyland. And it shouldn't be like that... if WDW want's to do this the right way, this should be able to add to Fantasyland in a way that won't overwhelm it, but in a way to complete it.

To me, this is just putting a nice looking back drop on it that has a few auxiliary attractions.

    Nothing.

Save for the fact that it leaves FLE incomplete, and does damage to the existing Fantasyland by ripping out a ride.

I haven't seen such a hyperbolic descripton of a basic Disney dark ride since, well, since the 50's when rides like this were cutting edge. Look, I enjoy the dark rides as much as the next person, and I wish they didn't have to take this one out for a meet and greet. But to describe a simple flat panel black light dark ride in such glowing terms is living in a very simple past.

I much more agree with Dad's description above. It's nice, pleasant ride with some fond memories, and some people will be upset at its passing. I wish it was able to continue, but I strongly look forward to what's coming to FL in the near future.

As for wanting big e tickets, never going happen at the MK, not a sound investment. And there are some who would consider the Little Mermaid (Dairy queen hair and all) an E Ticket.

    Just a hunch, though.

As far as not raising capacity, both Ariel's and the mine coaster will have higher capacity than what they are replacing. Add in the new Princess M&Gs including Belle and Ariel. Then throw in the second Dumbo spinner, and FL will have more fire power than before. Not a huge increase, but still more capacity.

    EXACTLY.

Ew. And yes, I would be much less bothered if another ride was going in there.

I still maintain that some ducklings around here aren't being fair to the current Snow White dark ride. It's not nearly so bad as some what to believe. I think it's just become the latest craze to pick on this attraction. One person even said it's the worst version of the attraction anywhere. That's not true at all. It's certainly better than the California version.
