I think the new Seven Dwarfs coaster will be a fun ride, like Crush's Coaster at WDSP, but I'm still a bit sad that the dark ride has to go.
Originally Posted By davewasbaloo I have to say Dagobert, we were very disappointed. The bird on the stick did not work, and we have rides that change direction in Europe. The only thing I really like is it is pretty to look at when not on it, and the queue is awesome. The attraction (like oh so many things that horrid trip) was a major disappointment.

If anything, it's in much better shape than Peter Pan's Flight to Neverland.

But overall the ride is super fun and I LOVE the theming of the entire attraction and surrounding areas.

It doesn't make that much difference in my enjoyment of the ride. It's my theory that if someone had no idea what the yeti was supposed to be doing, they'd not be bothered by it in the least that he's currently doing nothing. Yeah, I wish Disney can find a way to fix this. But it's such a tiny part of a great attraction that it makes no difference on my desire to ride. I usually hit it in the morning, and enjoy 3 or 4 rides in a row with less than a 5 to 10 minute wait - very very cool, and always a highlight of my DAK visit!
Originally Posted By RoadTrip I think for a Disney coaster it is very good. Big Thunder Mountain has great themeing but is short on coaster thrills. Rock and Roller has a great launch but other than that is way too short... less than half the duration of Expedition Everest. So I think that judged by Disney coaster standards, EE is very good. I also enjoy the fact that EE has a single rider line so I can experience it without the excessive wait you have at the other coasters. I do miss going through the queue though… certainly a high-point of the EE experience. I don't really go to a Disney park to ride coasters anyway. Silver Dollar City (30 minutes from where I live) has two coasters that are far better than anything Disney has to offer.

If you think that SWSA was terrible, chances are, you aren't going to grasp the quaint charm, and complexities of that ride.
