I guess you're right. I was thinking of AAs as figures that sync speech and motion. But I guess if the Yeti is an AA, then the Potter creatures are, too.

And there's also the sorting hat in the queue, which is most definitely an AA.

Even so... It's cold. It's sterile. I really don't see it being a place that captures the imagination.

I have to disagree. It is pretty easy to speculate on what the finished product is going to look like from the pictures, interviews and such that Disney's Imagineering Dept has released. Disney says the Dwarf Coaster is not going to be as heavily detailed as BTMRR or SWSA which it is suppose to be replacing.

We had these arguement over "Pooh's whatever spot" prior to it being constructed. There were those who were all for "Pooh's spot" and those of us against it. Many people said wait till it's done to render judgement. Most everyone thought it sucked once it was completed, including many who thought it's presence was going to be a great idea. Look where "Pooh's spot" is now... it is an interactive que sitting infront of "Pooh". I guess those of us who thought it was going to be rather lackluster were correct.

Earlier this week Good Morning America was hosting live from the MK. Normally when this happens Disney highlights an attraction or ride. Not this past week. Good Morning America was interviewing little girls dressed up like Disney Princesses. You know things have got to be pretty lame in the MK when Disney is highlighting child quests dressed up in public as Disney Princesses and it is not even Halloween.

Simple, because it does nothing to motivate me to visit WDW. And your right I'm not the target audience. But then again neither is 80% of the general population either. In one way it is rather weird and creepy. WDW advertising themselves as the ultimate preadolesence "dress up" area on the planet.

It is disturbing watching the "tweening" of the Magic Kingdom.

No one advocated for WoM 20 posts back, just that the way the show scenes were setup for TT were subpar, especially in compairison to WoM. So easy it is to simply right off the argument and ridicule it with an uneducated swipe at those who see the merits of AA presentations. Typically yhat is done when someone is incapable of arguing the merits of the point at hand.

Same with the princess makeovers. They are a nice service that Disney offers, but they are hardly enough of a service for the general public to see as a center stage reason on national television to be called to action with a future visit to WDW. Pretty pathetic!

I can't imagine Eisner opening up one of his Sunday night shows with such banal trite.
