If they'd even spent the money on an awareness campaign, similar to a political effort, to show where in our country need exists, imagine the outpouring of donations or volunteerism that effort could have generated. Instead, it is resources spent attempting to hardwire bigotry into the state constitution, to deny rights already granted to people. Tax them to high heaven.
