We rode the new Pirates ride many times and got to meet "Captain Jack Sparrow" and he was great! Gotta say that he has all the charm as the "real" Johnny Depp too! Wow!!! Now it is back to reality and dirty laundry!! ha..ha..ha.. Thank you so much for all your best wishes! I wish I could have come home with the big money, but alias it was not meant to be. Hopefully, whoever won, will have a great time with the "gold"! Me? I am back to my contesting and of course that means the latest Disney contest!! Enter Everyone! Enter!! As for the food...they did give us a total of $80.00 in food coupons...and they expired on Oct. 2nd...I think...somewhere right around that date, so we used them on Thursday night, and yesterday for lunch at the French Market. It was so nice being waited on and sang to by a group of Pirates. One of them was really easy on the eyes, and our little waitress I think was a bit "smitten". So I kept drinking my lemonade quickly, so she had a reason to come back! ha..ha..ha.. By the time we left there, I was about ready to explode! The food was great and what a treat that it was all paid for. We also received 4 Pirate Mickey ears and I offered Darkbeer one, but he had plenty, so on our way to the park, we spotted a young Dad with his son and gave our extra Pirate hat to him. He loved it! Disney really does things up well! Our hotel was nice, we had a view of the pool...not a bad walk to the park each day, although my legs are sore, airfare included of course, transportation to and from, and most importantly those wonderful 3 - day flex passes. Now if I could have just won the $50,000! ha..ha..Or maybe the Pirate artwork, now that would have been nice. I did buy two smaller ones though, suitable for framing, so I will probably take a trip over to Michaels today to take care of that. All in all, it was wonderful and we did have a blast!! I feel blessed to have won this trip and I hope that you, my fellow LP'ers....get the same opportunity too! Afterall, they got the new contest coming up!! So get out those postcards!!!!!! Oh...since the Halloween "Magic" started on the 29th, we were able to go to the Haunted Mansion for all of the new decorations. It was great. Plus, there are pumpkins all over the park. Very festive!! And...the weather was perfect!! Sunny and warm... Did I mention "Captain Jack Sparrow" ah....ah...ah..ah... ºoº

It was fun though, seeing other people with the same Disney Quest Sweepstakes tags around all of our necks and the first question is you asked them was "How did you win your trip?" So first thing this morning I gave my hubby puppy dog eyes and sniffled and said, "slurpees? I'll actually make you a real breakfast if you go get them!" Worked like a charm. ROTFL The only time that I can ever, truly keep myself away from them is during Lent. I give them up every year. LOL...the people at 7-Eleven all know me by name..and they know on Easter I'm coming in for the Grande size! Other than that, I have my own refillable mug (they're cheaper that way too!) Some kids never grow up....
