It's a factor in job satisfaction, sure, but not the only one. But that just means Disney management is not doing such a great job in those other areas to see that their employees are happy and motivated.

But all of Florida has risen dramatically. I wanted to purchase our retirement home about 5 years ago when we started looking seriously, but DW wouldn't buy off on 2 mortgages for a while. So we didn't and now the house I wanted for $390K is closer to $850K - and no longer the bargain it was --

It would be great if management could cull the ones who don't, but then who would take their place?

Yeah, those people are less likely to get raises and promotions, but odds are they're not planning to stick around very long anyway.

Disney doesn't pay close to what it should. Free theme park admissions aren't all that great when you almost live at the parks. And 50% off a $400 a night room isn't going to be remotely affordable for most front-line CMs. 4.) In a market like Orlando's, something as small as $1 an hour across the board increase would GREATLY improve both morale and help hiring.

Once I'm off work I like to get comfortable, even to go shopping. Why can't CMs bring a change of clothes to work, get out of their costumes and then go shopping?
