Come to think of it, why doesn't Disney sell merchandise to people waiting in the stand-by lines for the most popular attractions? Better yet, set up DVC kiosks in the queues! They wouldn't be hard to fit into the Soarin' line. I am copywriting this idea. If Disney uses it, I swear I'll sue them. (You can thank me at your convenience, EE.)

DVC trips to these countries do just that --that is why I said if anywhere they belong it is there<<<< Sure, but they don't look anything like the pavilions. They are plastic, ugly and garish. They hurt the cohesive theme. Like I said, reutilize the CCore Travel Office as DVC space.

However, when you look at the Magic Kingdom, which has tons of people whose jobs pay them to maintain the park, it's so easy to watch and wonder what the hell is going on. I'd never let people over my house if there was chippd paint everywhere, but Disney thinks it's okay to have thousands of guests in their parks come in and observe the chipped paint. Or the rusted-out smokestacks on the Liberty Belle. Or the burnt out lightbulbs in Caribbean Plaza. Or the wall of gum in Splash Mountain. Or "ghetto" Space Mountain. There is no excuse why any of these problems can't be fixed, but hey, I'm not the one running the park. (I used the Magic Kingdom as my example because EPCOT and MGM Studios have significantly better maintenance. It's ironic the how the most visited theme park in the world is in the worst shape.)

(Trust me on this one. Arkansas people don't like to take the time to inspect and admire the Fantasyland quail tiles or the Adventureland Spanish galleon tiles! They also don't know that Disney recently installed new "Tangled" toilet seat covers in the Main Street restrooms. I know, I know. They mess up the Main Street theme! But they look really cute!)

Most people notice, but don't seem to complain for "overly" care. I mean, we do, but they just dismiss it as operational problems and that's it. Average Guest is someone who goes, has fun, doesn't let the little problems weigh on their enjoyment level. Granted, I don't flip out when I see dirt on MSUSA, but it certainly effects how I view the place, and what I will tell CMs when asked about my day. A visit to GR is sometimes in order, too.

I was in a store the other day where I spent $150.00, which I realise is not a lot of money, but the cashier never acknowleged me even after I said good morning. She barely looked up and didnt say thank you when the transaction was finished. When poor customer service is the norm, Disney seems like a dream.

Employees just beg you to fill them out with a high rating so that their pay won't get docked. Sheesh.

And I'll promise to keep my idea about them selling to people entering the bathrooms under wraps

I haven't seen a placement next to Dumbo, have you ?
