Also yes. I just wish they would set dress the carts to match the theme of the land or area they are in. Other merchandise carts match the area they're sitting in, why not the DVC carts? The current cart design works fine for Toontown or DTD, but that's about it.

Club shops selling out of theme merchandise But I love the Tokyo parks, EPCOT, Animal Kingdom, Dl Anaheim and Disneyland Paris. There is still so much to enjoy around the globe----yes, even at WDW---- but the reduced standards(which are most visible in Orlando) sicken me.

I have written letters to Disney and left comments at city hall, and occassionally they have tried to buy my loyalty. I don't free crap, I want Disney to restore the standards they made us come to expect. I do have fun when I go, of course, but the last trip to WDW felt like such a waste of money, especially when compared to the superior Disneyland or even DLP (two places so many myopic travellers never bother with, the British ones especially annoy me). And why do these people annoy me? Because the acceptance of the poor standards just encourages more dumbing down. I still love the classics, and occassionally you bump into a cast member that gets it. Yes, it is better than some of the other alternatives (but the margins of difference is not huge anymore). But to be honest, I think I am done with WDW, I still peek occassionally in the hopes that things improve (like Disneyland did). I would like to potentially return to Orlando one day to see friends, the WWOHP, and as the kids get older, take them to Discovery cove and KSC. I return to DLP because it is close, we have a villa there and we do have fun. But to be honest, i am now more excited about going to Paris, the black Forest and the Rhineland with the kids this year. we will be trying Europa Park, Phantasialand and Eftling for the first time (well I went to Phantasialand 20 years ago). Once upon a time I would have written up a review, but as my story showed of Madame Tussauds Marvel exhibit, LPers are not interested. It is sad, after 10, nearly 11 years on LP, it just is no longer as much fun for me, just like Disney. there are a few things still to be excited about - Mystic Point in HK, I am dying to go to Tokyo, and I am looking forward to what happens in DCA for 2012. If we can get Ratatouille in Paris, that is quite interesting too.

I think you can be a loyal visitor and still be a vocal critic. I think it is important to stop by City Hall and tell them when expectations aren't met. Conversly, I think you should stop at City Hall when expectations are exceeded.

Due to my small salaried job- which I love- it is an absolute treat to stay on the property at WDW. For that reason only, All Stars are appreciated. Cannot afford on property elsewhere. I'd love to do Polnesian or Beach Club or Wilderness Lodge- or Grand Califorian, but until a rich uncle adopts me and dies, I'll be someone with not much money but much more class!
