As for a third park.... does anyone here seriously think that something resembling a fully tricked out Disney theme park will be built on the strawberry fields within the next 10 years? I'm very doubtful that will happen, and not just because of the current economic climate.

Naw, not in the next 10 years certainly. Maybe never. That land is as likely to become hotel/golf course/water park or some such waste of space as it is an actual 3rd gate theme park.

But regardless of what it eventually becomes, the idea of a high draw development on that land south of GW separated from DLR's 2nd huge parking garage to the north of GW definitely makes the idea of actually owning GW outright much more attractive to Disney.

Its not that I don't like DVC. Its just that in Orlando, they have stopped focusing on the parks TO build DVC. If the parks were fresh, and new attractions coming at a steady pace, then the DVCs wouldn't be a problem for me. And I actually love Disney Resort Hotels. Not a big fan of the All-Stars, But WL, AKL, and The Grand Californian are some of my favorite hotels EVER.
It does make me sad that they have lowered the quality standards at The Deluxes to where they are only now 3 stars. The widening gap between what they offer and what they charge is a different sto

I would hope Disney would keep the restaurant pretty much intact, as is, .. throw another name up there .. and keep all that wonderful theming!

I would hate to see it taken out in favor of some other restaurant chain that could NEVER offer a theming as good as this!

I've never found RFC to be all that wonderful. Their definition of theming is cheap plasticy plants and birds that look like they came out of a dime store. It's way over the top and tacky.

How many restaurants (particularly "chain") go for theming like this?

Me either. I hate themed restaurants in real world settings. It just seems so cheesy.

I actually think ALL restaurants are theme restaurants. Some just have really boring themes.

I love that there is a RFC in London as it is the closest I can get to a DL feel outside of a Disney resort.
