No it means you will make the most of everything there, it's such a brilliant place, any flaws are minute in comparison to the array of wonderful things you can see and do.

However, when giving a review of WDW or any other attraction for that matter to a first timer, your vision of perfection, may leave the person disappointed upon their arrival. Yes, WDW is far and above their competition, and absolutely they are the best at what they do, which leads me to believe that they should strive to remain the best! I dont't say any of these things to be argumentative, but again, I just feel everything in life deserves to be looked at with objectivity. And if one honestly doesn't find fault in ANYTHING at WDW, then one isn't being very objective!

In Bloona's defense.. If you travel thousands of miles and spend thousands of dollars you want to have the best time you can in the time that you have at WDW... Maybe you can overlook some of the problem areas, I can understand that... we all know they exist, but why waste your precious time on them, when you could be having fun...

I'm not defending you TDLFAN.. I know you would not like that... but yes there many problems with WDW and US residents that spend way way to much time roaming around in WDW can see more clearly then the so called guest robots as you refer to them... cut them a little slack, they don't have time to see problems nor complain about them, their having to much fun.. And by the way you noticed that I said US residents... now that I am, I have put down my spray cans of paint and turned over a new leaf... No more graffiti for me... : )

For example, Adventureland was very nice, even though I REALLY wish it wasn't scarred by the Alladin's Magic Carpets spinner. On the other hand, the entire attraction is almost redeemed by the spitting Camels. I must have spent nearly 2 hours over a couple of days just watching people's reaction to this and laughing. You could see people get hit with the water, jump and look around, and have no clue where the water was coming from. Some would storm away with a sour expression, others would pause, look around, and then you would see their faces light up when they realize what was happening. I didn't even see the camels until my second trip through Adventureland, so watching these people really was a great lesson to slow down and experience the little things in the park.

Who's wasting time looking ofr problems at WDW?? I certainly am NOT. They just happen to pop up when I happen to be having fun. The people mover for example... the fun thing to do there is just sit back, relax and enjoy looking at the scenery...but is it my fault the scenery comes complete with peeling paint and dirt spots that get in the way of your fun?? Because the only way to avoid not looking at that stuff would be to *close your eyes*, and how am I supposed to have fun with my eyes closed???

I also think Disneyland is really the superior no doubt, of the two Magic Kingdoms in the US. DowntownDisney is close to I-4 but quit a few things are closer than you think to the outside world sometimes at DisneyWorld. For instance, I know a backstreet from cheap-o-motel ville to right near Animal Kingdom park and Lodge. Atleast you had a great time! I too have my own gripes about certain things I'm sure others think are great. One other thing, I don't dis-like Stitch's Great Escape. I think it's fun!

Do I have to get my paint out and take it with me... btw I'm in agreement with you about SEEING things.. my comments were meant for the newbies.. calm down please, you will blow a gasket... My eyes are wide open when I'm there... I notice light bulbs out that used to be a Disney no no... they used to brag on how lights were checked and replaced every night before the next days opening... hey my hubby and I notice the same stuff you do... we've been going for almost 25 yrs now... I only say go easy on the newbies.. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder...

Agreed - that place is designed to look good while in the space. At a distance, it doesn't work.

I wanted to hate this place but couldn't after I walked the grounds.

I know. Personally I think it would be a very interesting job to fly all over the place. I just had to give you a little grief because you seemed particularly cranky your last few posts.

    ;-)

Even though some things don't bother me like they seem to bother you, I find that your assessments are usually fair.

That being said, I love the California Grill's look (and the food).

I also like the Great Movie Ride, but I'm always disappointed when I see the big cake-thing in the beginning not spinning. Didn't it spin when the ride first openned? And a few updates wouldn't hurt.

Anyway, thanks to OP for the opinions - and the lively discussion that ensued!
