I have a wife and two kids, am an executive at a 43,000 person company and guess what - I wore black, had piercings and I still listen to Korn!!!

I remember when I was younger and did the same as i have worked 29 years for a very very conservative company - the mens 'uniform' for years consisted of : Dark suit, wing tip Florscheim shoes, long sleeve button down collar - white ( only ) shirt, conservative tie, and basically military haircut.... I was told many times that my Disney attire would hold me back -- luckily those people were wrong and now with business casual most of the time...no one cares any more.

After all -- "What harm is there in that?"

To be honest I really don't have an opinion of them becuase I only seen a couple kids using them at Disney and they were not acting a nut. I am not sure what my limitation of places he could wear them would be actually.
