Real Bats in my House...Too scary for me

    We live beside the country and there is a farm nearby that has a colony of bats in the summer. In the winter, they return to Pitt Lake Caves.

    I don't mind bats...from afar. I think they're kinda neat. I'd love to pet one sometime if someone had a pet/friendly one. They're fascinating to look at.

    Snakes...I'm far more leery of snakes. They just give me the creeps. They may be cool for some but I just have a hard time liking them. Many of them are really beautiful though.

    But spiders...oh no...no,no,no,no,no! I have a totally justified fear of spiders. And we, too, have a black widow just outside our front door...just under the door ledge. As a kid I was NOT afraid of them and did terrible things to them so I guess that's why I have the fear now. I'm convinced they are going to come back and get their revenge! They make me shudder and give me nightmares!
