Snakes...I'm far more leery of snakes. They just give me the creeps. They may be cool for some but I just have a hard time liking them. Many of them are really beautiful though. But spiders...oh no...no,no,no,no,no! I have a totally justified fear of spiders. And we, too, have a black widow just outside our front door...just under the door ledge. As a kid I was NOT afraid of them and did terrible things to them so I guess that's why I have the fear now. I'm convinced they are going to come back and get their revenge! They make me shudder and give me nightmares!

He/she was REALLY big and very beautiful. It made no noise as it flew away carrying it's meal, so that's why I thought it was an owl. Witches, you might want to stop on by here if you need any little critters for your potions. The dogs are off limits ;-)
