    For the construction schedule that Pirates was on I think it is completely plausible that portions of the ride were "complete" in the summer prior to it opening.

    Ride throughs on Splash at WDW were happening long before the ride officially openend. I read this story in the book "The Disney Way" so I don't have first hand knowledge of the account.

    Fireflies choose our backyard a couple of years ago as a breeding ground....There were literally thousands of them for a period of about a week....It was amazing to see....If anyone else around here has witnessed such they will know what I mean....
