Sounds to me like he's just catering to the nutty right-wing base. All these issues are just stirring up the emotions of the folks who ignore facts and focus on what they want to believe instead. Interesting strategy.....looks like he's trying to out-maneuver the Palin/Bachmann crowd.

<<Funny how just about every nation that's kicking our butt (economically) has some form of Socialized Healthcare.>>

Hmmm, not sure many nations our kicking our butt economically at the moment, but anyway.....

ObamaCare misses the mark because it just tries to put band-aids on compound fractures. Real solutions are going to be hard, which is why our politicians are staying away from them and arguing about the band-aids.

Our deficits speak volumes. We are even being compared to "sick man" countries like Greece and Portugal.

I agree our deficits are out of hand, but our economy, for the moment at least, is still the envy of the whole world (even with our current problems). And no serious economists currently compare the U.S. to Portugal and Greece, although California would probably be an apt comparison.

Anyone, and I mean anyone, who thinks Donald J. Trump is worthy of the White House is as deluded as he is.

I'm not sure I buy into the the "envy if the world" thing. Other economies are growing at a healthy clip, while we are still stagnant, even by the juiced up numbers The Ministry of Truth provides.

They say we're in a "recovery" but I'm not seeing it. The Great Americam Layoff Machine is still plowing ahead. The PTB claim that unemployment % is down, but the total number of people employed is down and median wages are stagnant. Half of the US workforce earns less than $500 a week (and they wonder why houses and cars aren't selling).

This keeps track of which of Trump's statements are true or false. So far, he's .5 for 6. Not 5 for 6, the decimal isn't a typo.

I highly doubt Trump would want any of us to know what he actually pays (or doesn't pay) in taxes.

There's that, plus also he would be forced to reveal his actual net worth, something he's been making a lot of noise about in the past couple of weeks. I think it's probably to Trump's advantage to keep everyone guessing about that.

Trump's various buildings always appear gaudy and unappealing to me -- they have a very 80's look he seems to favor. Except the hair. That's sort of a 1970's Mad Magazine caricature of Robert Redford's hair.
