I want to see his hairline. I mean, my theory is the hair is actually The Donald. That it's like some alien creature that landed years ago.’” LOL!

The real estate mogul has spoken to pollster Tony Fabrizio as well as members of Larry Weitzner’s Jamestown Associates, sources said. Three Republicans said that Florida-based media consultant Rick Wilson had been recommended to Trump as a potential hire. (Wilson declined to comment on whether he’d been approached or spoken with Trump). He recently called pollster and strategist Kellyanne Conway, who agreed to set him up with some evangelical leaders." (More at the link) Now, of course, all this could be a feint, just to make it look more like he's running for reals. Or maybe his ego really is getting the better of him. He wouldn't be the first millionaire with an outsized ego and sense of entitlement who thought being born into money and managing to remain a millionaire somehow qualified him to be President despite all appearances to the contrary (lookin' at you, Steve Forbes), and I STILL think it likely that it'll all be revealed as a big joke on all of us (and particularly on GOP voters!) come the Apprentice season finale. Still, he hasn't had this much cheap adoration heaped on him in a while and there's no question that the man loves cheap adoration. Trouble is, once GOP primary voters take a second look, he'd be in major trouble. Not only his messy personal life (and it's mucho messy!), but until about 5 minutes ago, he was pro-choice on abortion, pro-gay marriage, and even pro-single-payer-national-health-care (!). Remember how Romney suffered last time (and to a degree already this time) by seeming like a flip-flopper and inauthentic? Multiply that by a few dozen times for Trump. And ask Guiliani how well a socially liberal/moderate New Yorker did with the actual GOP primary electorate, despite leading in early polls. Plus, the economically right-wing Club for Growth can't stand him either: <a href="http://www.politico.com/news/stories/0411/53416.html" target="_blank">http://www.politico.com/news/s...416.html</a> I think Trump's in for a major wake-up call if he actually runs, once actual GOP primary voters take a second look (with the other candidates helpfully shining a big old spotlight). But is he running? Maybe his ego gets the better of him, but I still think this is all for show.

The Smoking Gun reports, however, that appears not to have been the case. According to the website, Selective Service records tell a different story: By the time his number (356) was drawn during the December 1, 1969 draft lottery, Trump had already received four student deferments and a medical deferment, according to military records on file with the National Archives and Records Administration. An extract of Trump’s Selective Classification record, seen here, was provided in response to a TSG records request. National Review Online relays what Trump initially told New York-based station WNYW about the matter earlier this week. “I was sitting at college, watching," he said to the local outlet, "I was going to the Wharton School of Finance. And I was watching as they did the draft numbers and I got a very, very high number and those numbers [they] never got up to.” The Smoking Gun reports, however, that the draft lottery that took place in December of 1969 came eighteen months after Trump graduated from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. National Review Online questioned the claims made by Trump to WNYW on Thursday. Brian Bolduc wrote: But in her biography of Trump, Donald Trump: Master Apprentice, journalist Gwenda Blair attributes the Donald’s escape of the draft to another factor: “Donald’s military career ended with NYMA graduation; despite his athletic prowess, in 1968 he received a medical deferment from the military draft.” Trump has yet to announce whether he plans to run for president in the next election cycle. During a stop in Las Vegas on Thursday night he said he could be expected to make his plans known by June 1. When one woman at the event shouted "run for president," the billionaire reportedly responded, "I think I am going to make you very happy on that." <> The man is a chump. I cannot believe how gullible folks are for thinking this guy is truthful about anything, and cares for anything but himself and his pocket.
