Thanks for considering me one of the unwashed masses. Then again, I'm just a hick from the South - I barely know how to eat with a fork AND a knife at the same time.

Because, after a while, you get sick of Disney food, and Disney prices.

And I only have to drive 230 miles.

Sorry, Nikki - I didn't mean to offend. I thought that labeling me as an elitist would be a tipoff that I was speaking tongue in cheek. What I meant to say is that there were many many people who were previously satisfied with quick service, who are now using table service as a result of the DDP. And a lot of these people, not being used to the menu of a fine dining establishment, are asking if they can have a cheeseburger. When Le Chefs de France puts a $24 cheeseburger on their lunch menu, that's a tipoff that something has gone horribly wrong.

I also remember a particularly disgusting plate of meatballs and spaghetti at Tony's Town Square when I was in high school.

On our last trip, there were only two meals that I didn't enjoy - the shrimp scampi at Sci-Fi and the baked mahi-mahi at Garden Grill (I have a thing about seafood). Other than that, I've had some very good meals at Disney. Chefs de France has been excellent the last three times we've visited, which is why we keep going back. Liberty Tree and the Plaza are always enjoyable as well.

    DALLAS SNOB!

I agree to some extent Dan, but I still lay the blame at Disney's feet. I think they use the excuse of blame it on the guest or guest demand this, way to much. They created the problem period as far as I'm concerned. They quit pressure washing the streets nightly. They turned shopping at WDW into an adventure at your local strip mall. And they turned menus at WDW into limited shells of their former selves.

Maybe, but it's a hell of a lot worse than it was just 5 years ago.

I get sick of the prices real fast. I don't live in Chicago. Were the food exceptional, I would give them a pass. Just like we use to do 10 years ago. If the dining experience was like it was back then I would not be complaining now.

I don't know Dan. I have a lot of good friends in Dallas, and they're all snobs! Especially during football season! :)

I agree Skipper. At least for me the quality has gone down at several places.

That ... plus your drinking ... but mostly spending time sitting on your (can't use the word here) while opining about Disney parks and assorted other matters of little import here ;-)
