I have never had bad ones there- always individual not mushy - not with bread crumbs on them like some use. The BEST ones were made by my gandmother...and were quite the long process but worth it...again my point is that these places are far from average. When peopole start talking about Olive Garden in the same breath- really it's sad. again, I did not say the BEST, I said very good which it is. In the BEST category I would put Cali Grill / Jiko / Blue Zoo -- to call something the BEST anywhere is very hard to do- there is likely always somewhere better- but if you draw an average line- all the sit downs I have mentioned so far are well above the average line, and most have a couple of star entrees that are very very good. Some of the BEST restaurants I know are Mom & Pop ethnic places so it's not about $$, however many BEST restaurants carry a price tag that would make the $23 Hamburger of Chef's de France seem like a bargain.

That being said, the food is good there, but far from spectacular. <<show me the farmers market that has all you need for many of the dishes at Boma -- I'd like to visit that one.>> Reading Terminal Market in Philadelphia. Used to work there myself. <<the only Farmer's Markets here have basic vegetables and fruits..period. Cuz the stuff at the Terminal is a hell of a lot cheaper than your normal super market, and better quality.

I guess the typcial person in Florida just hasn't yet come to the conclusion that jeans can be formal when worn appropriately.

If I'm going to have to tolerate screaming children while I am eating, I would just assume do table service. At least then I'm not spending between $25-$45 a meal. I have no problem with people who prefer to eat on Disney property. It just seems that there are more and more reasons why I prefer to eat elsewhere.

I have had Italian food on property and I my opinon it's not as good as Macaroni Grill. Mind you I grew up in a densly Italian neighborhood, so I'm use to incredible Italian food. On a recent trip to Chicago I returned to Rosebud and the Fusilli Carbonara was not as good as it had been in the past. If seems even other well respected, "fine dining establishements" are cutting back.

And when we returned Disney Security wouldn't let us back in the parking lot till we showed them our room key as AKL doesn't have adequate parking to accomidate guests who are actually staying at that resort and people dining at Boma. At the time AKL had the most limited parking of any resort on Disney property. I'm not sure about now.
