And if you got your hands on that information -- which is priceless-- you'd likely be SHOCKED at what they have for notes on celebs, sports figures, politicians, execs etc ... but to see that done at a major chain and Disney IS a major chain would be troubling just as would be at Marriott, Hilton or Hyatt. If someone is truly that much of a problem they should be dealt with when they are there. The ability to use and abuse individuals/families who are victims of horrendous behavior by hotel staff and management, sometimes criminal, with a database like this is incredible. Just think, perhaps, about this forum and what we post here. Would you want to be red-flagged (good, bad or indifferent) because you voice strong opinions on the Internet? Think about that. There's not one person on here who's truly anonymous if the Mouse wants to know who you are. They know me. They know many others. After my recent visit to DLP, there was a considerable amount of personal animus directed to/at me and my family by the top execs of that resort. The No. 2 exec was ordered to Burbank less than 48 hours after starting his new job in Paris to deal with the ramifications of abusing personal information and passing it off as knowledge to his superiors. So, folks, by no means are any of us anonymous. Oh, and while I intend to post on the other more appropriate boards soon, if anyone has any advice about visting Shanghai, Hong Kong and Tokyo, it would be welcome because I'm heading there for six weeks on family-related business just after the new year! ... and I'm sure visits to all the Disney parks in Asia, and maybe a potential future site or two, will be included. Yep. That information thing can be dangerous. <<Great tipper, very demanding, untidy, want's something for nothing, etc.>> Or how about worse things? How about sexual proclivities? How about religious background? Or political leanings? Or just personality? So scary. <<And I'm sure folks have been put on these lists for good reason, out of revenge or for no good reason at all. >> You're more right than you could ever know.

I would say a couple of keystrokes by someone in Al Weiss' office or Jay Rasulo's and your life/character are viewed thru an impressionist prism!

I wonder how much they even do this anymore, though. A friend just got back from WDW. While at the Beach Club Villas, the valet gave them the wrong car, and their car to someone else. What they were offered: a ride to their intended destination. Later they spoke to another manager, who comped their dinner since they were so upset they didn't enjoy it. They did get their car back, but you used to hear stories about how great Disney's service was, and if they messed up the lengths they would go to to make it right.
