We've only had two minor situations happen to us and we handled it like people. We have seen some guests just get out of control with their mightier than thou attitude. Unreal. Some guests did have legitimate situations but some. AH NO!!

Apparently her husband gashed his head at Typhoon Lagoon in the wave pool because (imagine this) there are waves in it. Then her child fell and was injured (not seriously) at the MK. Disney had agreed to pay all medical costs and comp the entire trip and she still was telling the person on the other end that she's angry and not going to take it and she's a firefighter and knows what's a safety issue etc ... At first, I thought she had a real bad trip and was being screwed by the Mouse. But the more I looked at her and listened, the more convinced I was that she was scamming the Mouse. But again, Disney brings it on itself nowadays by being quick to throw freebies all over and then ignore serious complaints ...

Also, glad I didn't 'complain' about being double-charged for local phone calls at Pop Century ... or the missed wake-up call either ... who knows what they would have put in my already lengthy file!

Do you not see the possibility for rampant abuse? One is a form of discrimination/alienation for what well could be the behavior of representatives of the company acting in a capricious fashion. I am amazed at the sheep mentality that allows such bad behavior/outrageous conduct by big business to be justified by 'regular folks.'

That's like an airline noting preferences for frequent fliers. It in no way harms the guest's privacy, but helps ensure they get what they desire. Win-win. <<We can also record if the customer is....let's just say difficult, does'nt show up on time for their reservations, etc...>> Again, if there truly is a problem with an individual guest. There are ways of dealing with that. But let's say one of your servers is a psycho and takes it out on guests. They complain. And you write they are 'problem guests' ... with a national database, this could cause innocent people problems everytime they dined out. <<Its happening everywhere - >> Didn't anyone here read the novel '1984' by George Orwell? Or were you all busy watching 'The Dukes of Hazzard?' (not that it was a bad show for the times but ...)

Would it be held against me that in 2000 I refused a filthy, dilapitated room at the CBR and demanded a room in the first building that had been rehabbed? Would that somehow qualify me a 'problem guest?'
