We should. ... I'm sure it would be quite entertaining.

And I know plenty of good people at Disney (at many different levels). Where do you think I get my info from?

<<Heck, I even had a "magic moment" from Al Weiss. (A personal matter.)>>

I've had moment with Al, although I wouldn't call them magical. I've also NOT had any unpleasantries with him, unlike members of his exec team.

I just don't lik what's happened to WDW on his watch ...

Yep ... when you wear that purple Daisy tee ... wow, that is HOT ... hot, hot, hot! You head to Vista Way wearing that, and just watch all the 'confused' boyz with Daddy (or in your case, granddaddy) issues run to you ;-)

Most dental plans are worthless these days. My daughter had dental surgery to remove a tooth. The procedure required an anesthesiologist. It cost $1200 and the insurance only paid $300. And then there is her orthodontia: $5000, of which insurance only covers $1500 (and I know I'm lucky to get even that).

I used to do benefits orientation for new employees at my company, and I told them flat out that the dental plan was a bad idea. It probably wasn't kosher from a company standpoint, but I could see letting people waste so much money on something that would give them very little benefit.

Yep, the new corporate speak is: the benefits are designed to be of assistance to our employees, not provide complete coverage.

yet the premiums rise exponentially each year.

btw using similar terminology for what's left of any pension plans - or health benefits after retirement for those fortunate enough to still have either

My wife lived in the UK in the 90's, and from what she tells me, orthodontia treatment was pretty rare in the UK. It seems like it was only performed in the most extreme cases.

We used to have book from the UK called "BritThink/AmeriThink". It had a whole chapter dedicated to dental care and how obsessed Americans are about having the perfect smile.

On the whole, we're probably about a break even. I know if something happens to me, my family will be taken care of. I do not think the same would be true if we were in the US.

    3) 80% of orthodontics up to a maximum amount per year. But of course you always arrange with your orthodontist to split the bill over several years so you don't hit the maximum.
