I gotta say I like their local high school and I know a friend of mine on here would too - The Oceanside Pirates. I like their color green too.

It would have been overkill for the other 11. Its not unusual to not even bother shoveling the drive way at all. If it snows less than 2 inches the sun usually melts it all away before I get home. When we moved out here from SoCal I was worried about the snow, but the truth is that it has been a non issue. The city has usually plowed the main streets clean by the time I leave for work.

The median household income in Fort Collins has dropped $7000 since 2000.

I really don't miss it.

I remember seeing on the back of someone's shirt few years ago, Ft. Collins. Said something also about Thunder Mountain and Harley Davidson I think.

They organize a big Harley event here every summer. Quite a big event. This summer we had a few motorcycle fatalities related to the event.

LuLu I don't want to turn this topic into a World Event thread so I'll just be brief. For me having lived in NY, Chicago and of course the Bay Area Atlanta is still too racially tense and seperate for my tastes. I personally would not make it there during allergy season with my horrible sinuses. The rain and humidity in the summer drives me up the wall. Everythings a bit to spread out for me, traffic is horrible and I need to be closer to the ocean. With that said, I do think the outlining suburbs has some beautiful areas and the homes are attractive price wise but they are rising too.

Like in all areas you should talk to people who live in the area and check because all places have the good, the bad, and the just plain ugly!!
