Frankly I'm not at all sure I was wrong considering the recent crash of the economy. Why did I not stay with McCain? Because the campaign got VERY ugly. I will not vote for someone who uses fear and prejudice to get votes. Kind of the sad thing is that McCain never did. In fact he disputed people who claimed Obama was a Muslim and a terrorist. Who knows... it may have cost him the election. But he did the right thing. Unfortunately Palin did the wrong thing. She was all out nasty. Which was a shame, because she was also damned hot. ;-) Since then? Who knows? In ways I'm glad I voted for Obama. In ways I wish McCain would have won. I truly feel that Obama has the best plan for the LONG TERM. I'm just afraid we will never get to the long term because of his actions in the short term. I think Obama is a very intelligent man and I believe in his vision for America. But if I could wish a man into office right now, it would be McCain. Obama has gone too far too fast. It has not been good for the economy. As Beau would say... I'm a confused moderate. :-(

Palin is not hot, she's like some old aunt.

Mormons are the most vocal group out ther trying to prevent equal rights for another "very small minority group". They are vicious and they are relentless and they play the victim when challenged. As someone who is directly effected by their malicious efforts, I plead for everyone to oppose their hypocritical crusade.

See how that works?

Yes, the "other side” wallows in narrow-minded extremism also. But as I said before; two wrongs do not make a right. :-(

As a people, they've done tremendous harm. As a religion, they've done a tremendous harm. These things are intertwined, and political correctness towards religion won't change that. >>Thank God I know a lot of great people who are gay in my real life. You do them a great disservice here because of your narrow-minded extremism.<< Again, you're wrong. This is exactly what people say anytime someone makes waves against the status quo. Decent people in the 50s and 60s inadvertently supported bigotry and racism because they insisted people like Dr. King were pushing too hard and making too much of a stink. His outrage and his movement did more harm than good, they insisted. But just like you, they were dead wrong. The marchers who protest in front of Mormon temples have it right. Good for them. They'll annoy people who prefer a more polite way of demanding their equal rights and treatment in the short-term, but they'll bring their cause to the forefront and they'll get change much more quicker than if they came begging on their hands and knees to the very disgusting people who stripped them of those rights.
