I guess I've forgotten that last verse I remember watching Jack La Lanne with my mom on the black and white t.v. (giving away my age here) and she'd be doing the excersizes right along with him. Lady S...my grandparents had one of those silver aluminum trees at Christmas that revolved on a stand and had the color wheel. I would stand mesmerized waiting for the color to change. Red, blue, green, yellow and back again. We always had the real deal with construction paper chains and silver tinsel and that fiberglass angel hair. And those ornaments that bubbled when they heated up. When I was little my maternal grandparents would call all their friends and family over and they'd all pull out their instruments and start playing. My grandma on the piano and my grandpa on the fiddle and my uncle played the guitar. And invariably someone else had another fiddle and guitar and they'd play all kinds of country tunes like you'd hear at a barn dance. I've never had a bath in the kitchen sink but I remember my brother and I had to bathe together to conserve water. Of course I was only about 4-6 and he was 2-4 yrs. old. How about going to sleep with gum in your mouth and waking up with this wad in your hair that had to be cut out? Or saving your gum on the bedpost at night. ewww
