I have pictures of my girls standing on it. Last year I stayed fairly close to that hotel so I walked over to check it out. The Pool and Jacuzzi had been filled in and covered with concrete for a cheesy patio with a couple of chairs, the exterior was falling down in places and the bridge, still there, was rotted and unable to hold anyone up. It was surrounded by beer cans, plastic bottles and junk. Sad is the only acceptable word I can come up with and I wish my memory was as good as it is. Very depressing.

I have family visiting from New England and have been touring them around, and they notice so many of the things I do. And they aren't huge Disney fans like me. But I had a hard time explaining to my sister's husband why the Adventureland Veranda has been mothballed since 1993 yet the Pirate and the Parrot, which expanded into all the shops that used to be there for seating, is almost never open anyway. And from my SO who just walked in ... 'Remember when you couldn't buy McDonald's fries or those disgusting turkey legs in the MK?' I am not against change, but a thread like this shows that most of what's been lost hasn't been replaced by anything of substance.
